Neighborhoods:
QUIRINAL:
it is located from the street 63 to the 59 and located from carrera 50 until limited with the Simon Bolivar park. The neighborhood is composed by houses there are only 3 town houses. In its area we can find the catholic center of the police, we can find "el centro de alto rendimiento", the "complejo acuatico", a cafam market. In its northern and west limits we can find the Simon Bolivar park. The neighborhood focus is mainly residential.
PABLO SEXTO:
It is located from the street 59 to the 53 and from the carrera 50 to limit with the Simon Bolivar park. This neigborhood is one of the first neigbohoods in Bogotá and it's named in honor of the priest pablo sexto that came to Bogotá. It had two stages, the first one is divided into 4 phases, each one with a different colour (yellow, red, green, and blue); the second stage had all buildings constructed in bricks of the same colour, in addition any of the buildings have more than five floors.
These neighborhoods are located in an important zone at the geographic center of the city, they are near to many important places, like the airport, "El Campin", the National University, the historical center . At always in this zone passes important streets and carreras like av 68, av 53, av 63, av NQS(30), av 26.
Is located at the southern part of Bogotá
At the north it limit with "avenida mariscal sucre" and carrear 25, at the south it limited with the "avenida caracas", at the east it limited with street 28, at the west it limited with street 42.
Itwas well founded at 1952 on november in an area of a farm, that at first it was an artistic center.
Gustavo Rojas Pinilla made a project that was centered in doing 300 houses, because of these, much part of the floor of Quiroga neighborhood is more residential than other things.
Animportant fact of these neighborhood is that on October 29 of 2004 it was an objective of a terroristic attack from " las FARC" on the Caracas avenue.
