4. International book fair: This fair is loved by all the readers of international writers. Here you can find the books you want from a Vampire saga to an amazing romantic book.

PARQUE SIMON BOLIVAR
With La Mega(Nuestra Tierra)

The Parque el Simon is normally known for been a sport place but now I'll talk about it as a entretaiment place. In here most of the concerts are made because of his big space, that makes the perfect place for having a concert.
Now I will talk you about the concert that I like the most here in the Parque el Simon Bolivar.

Do you like music? If you do concerts are the perfect plan for a boring day. La mega is one amazing station (90.9 FM) where you can hear singers like Paramore, Juanes, Train, J Balvin, Pipe Pelaez, Santiago Cruz, Sin Animo de Lucro and more so what La mega does one times a year is a concert in the Parque el Simon Bolivar  wich you can look all the performers you want. 
Young people and adults love to been in this kind of concerts because it promote the national performes that's why the name "Nuestra Tierra".
The tickets are just for the people who called to the station or that participate in the activities La Mega does as the colletion of an amount of Doritos bag or the exhibition of some posters.
The concert starts at 2:00 pm and it finish at 10:30 pm so you notice that is a lot of time for letting yourself go with the music.

I love this kind of concerts so go and support national performers that are proud of been from Colombia so go and ejoy all the day with your friends.


PLAY LAND
If you like the mechanic games, or is your child birthday or even if you want to recover your child times you will love Play land. Play Land is located in Salitre Plaza and it's loved by the children because thay can have the best day of their life been all the time playing, eating candies or even having a party.
The first floor of Play Land is made for the mechanic games as the "Barco Pirata", bumpy cars, and more; but the second floor is made for the party area and the little kids stuff were you can find trampoline, little cars and pretty tiny bears.
So come and have the best experience with your friends or family...

Metal millenium

 Well this is a new festival un wich tha bands are only of metal, in this festival the bands make the people feel crazy for his instruments and for his song, also in this festival the national bands have an oportunity to show their music and to have also a opportunity to play to a big crowd, also in this festival international bands play like we can se in the pictures there is one band that is the agonnist, this is a very good festival in wich the lovers of metal music can go to hear their favorite music without worring abour nothing. 

Metallica

Well people start to sleep in the front of the park simon bolivar 3 days before the concert, then when the doors open people start to enter very fast and were very exited because metallica didnt come since 1999, then when the concert was about to start people start to make fights because they want to enter for seeing metallica then whent this problem was solved  the concert start, tha simon bolivar was full of people and they were very exited, the concert dont last too much because  metallica was going to take vacations in costa rica, at then end of the concert they change one word of one of the songs for bogota this concert was too exiting and was one of the best.


Mago de oz

To get into the concert was so hard because there were a lot of people and the doors open after 7 pm, then we enter and people so exited run to take the better places, 30 minutes after that the secondary artist start to play, it play 30 minutes and then at 8 pm mago de oz start to play they start with el corazon de gaia and then the concert begin the people were to exited, otherwise this was not the first time that mago de oz come to colombia they feel very exited because they like that the bogota people were with the same intensity as in their other concerts, the night was vary magic and they finish the concert with fiesta pagana that is one of their most known songs, the concert finish at 11 pm and this concert was very good and exiting.

For Independence!

Historic Places :

La Casa del Florero de Llorente:  

   

                                                                         

Located in:  calle 11 6-94. 

This House was the scenery of the historic event of "florero de llorente" on July 20, 1810, the event that would lead us to independence. It was declared a National Monument on the anniversary of independence on July 20, 1960, and since then serves as national historical testimony.

In this house is a good example of architecture of Spanish-Moorish tradition. If you visit it you will see Llorente Relics of Independence, Including documents, paintings, and elements of everyday life. Also at the 3rd floor you will find a lot of activities related to our independence. Some examples are:

·               Draw the vase as you imagine it.

·               A puzzle from the scene.

·               Put event in chronological order.

My personal experience was wonderful. I really learn about this event. When I saw the video, I really understand what was the importance of the vase. In that video you can hear the opinion of the people.

La Quinta de Bolivar:

  

                                                                                                           

This house was the home of the Libertador and Manuelita Saenz. In here they had good times and bad times if we talk in terms of politics. In this house you will see all the rooms as they were in the time of Bolivar.  And the guides will tell you short detales of Bolivar life.

You will enjoy your visit because you also can go to stable or to area in which you will find statues of Bolivar.

Observatorio Astronomico de Bogota:

This observatory was the first astronomical observatory built in America, today the observatory is part of the whole house of the Presidential Palace, home of the presidents of Colombia, after having served for nearly 180 years. It was the first observatory of the Spanish-speaking America is a direct result of the activities of the Botanical Expedition. In this place there where planned the events of July 20, 1810.

Although admission to the observatory is no longer permitted, I included in historic places because I think an important place in our history of independence. And in my opinion I think they should open it as a national museum.

THEATERS

JORGE ELIECER GAITAN

It was costructed on 1887 in Bogotà by an italian actor named Francisco Zenardo, in 1890 an Italian copani of opera named Azzali inagurated the Jorge Eliecer Gaitan theater, with a roll play named El Trovador.

In 1952 the currently president of that time named Laureano Gomez ask to demolish the Jorge Eliecer Gaitan theater, cause politics and national security. 

In 2000 after a complit reconstruction, these theater convert into the "Centro Cultural Teatro Municipal Jorge Eliecer Gaitan. since this year the theater is exposed to the publish with the principal stage (escenario), with an exposition hallway in which is exposed pictures and photographies and with a "teatrino". 

The Jorge Eliecer Gaitan Theater is located on the carrera 7 # 22-47.  

CAMARIN DEL CARMEN

It is a beautiful structure ubicated on the historical center of Bogotá that had developed different functions.

At first it was constructed on 1655 for religious functions, then militarily and scholastic functions, but now a days it is a theater with a capacity of 500 people, beeing one of the most prestige places and theaters of colombia.

The compañi of these theater as created on 1989 by a director named Pawel Nowicki. The theater is ubicated on the street "Triunfo" carrera , between 8 and 9 streets, in the famous neighborhood named la candelaria in Bogotá.

CANDELARIA

It was well founded on 1966 by a group of artists and intellectuals independent people, this group started on a shed in the 20 street named "casa de la cultura" on that place their were function like 2 years. 

Between 1966 and 1970 different groups from European schools, from latino american schools and many others, start to connstruct and to did different adaptations to places for do theater in Bogotá and Cali.

In 1968 la casa de la cultura take place on one of these structures modificated by the theaters schools on the neighborhood candelaria in Bogotá and they change their name to the most known "teatro de la candelaria".

It is ubicated on the 12 street # 2-59.

So do you want something new that you can do, something to change your routine so you have to go to salire magico this is a thematic park ubicated in salitre this is a very good place to chill with your friends or family, with no worring about anything else than to have some adrenaline, some of the atractions of this park are the apocalipsis and the roller coasters this are very good roller coasters and are very fun other atraction that you can do is the Martillo this is a place to feel adrenaline and to prove you have nerves of iron so if you want to change your routine for somehing with adrenaline you have to go to salitre magico.

Mundo aventura

This is a place to chill this is a more familiar place in wich you can have a very good time with your family and friends in this park there are more child atractions so this is like a park for childs so if you are looking for adrenaline dont go to this place, this is a place for family in this place there is a very good atraction there is the tronquitos and is that you roal in a cabine in the water and you get wet when it gets down this atraction is very fun and is also very familiar place so if you want toc chill and have a very good time come to mundo aventura.

Cici aquapark

It is a very hot day in Bogota you are sweating and you dont know what to do for calming that hot that you feel what a better place to go than cici aquapark this is a place ubicated in salitre near salitre magico this is a very good place for chilling with your friends in a swimming pool with a lot of slides that are wonderful you can have a very good moment in this kind of places it could be wonderful so if you have hot go to cici aquapark and chill with your friends.

T.G.I Friday's  was found in March the 15th of 1965 in Manhattan. Some people question about the meaning of T.G.I and the meaning is: Thank God Is Friday. You can find this restaurant in Ciudad Salitre and in the "parque de la 93".

 In Friday's you can have a delicious lunch and at the night a nice drink with bartender show or you can enjoy with your friends the happy hour. The waiters are really nice and they will make you feel comfortable, the have some great uniforms with the colors of the Friday's logotype.

The harmony of the place is so nice you can listen to music while you are eating or look to a soccer, tennis or basketball matches on their TVs.

This amazing restaurant was an idea of a couple of university students, they opened their first restaurant in 1980 here in Bogota, 2 years later they had the opportunity to open a new one at the "Centro Internacional" that helps them to get an upper degree.
Since that time Crepes & Waffles was been known here in Colombia and in countries as Spain, Mexico, Pero and others.

If you go to Crepes you will be in love with their French and Italian  food and desserts, but they have one difference that all this is 100% Colombian.
The waiters are typically women that are head of family, for Crepes is important the children future, this women are dress with a especial clothes so they look elegant at the time of serving.

Crepes & Waffles counts with 45 location here in Bogota and if you  want one out of Bogota you can find it on Cali, Medellin, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Pereira and Bucaramanga in which you will find crepes and waffles with Nutella, strawberry, banana, chantilly and all the delicious food you could imagine, talking about desserts and cafe's there are many kinds of ice cream you could choose and all the different cafe you want.

El Corral Gourmet
El Corral was found in 1983 at the center of Bogota in the 2001 El Corral found " El Corral Gourmet" that is the one I will talk to day.
This beautiful restaurant counts with an elegant decoration it is also a romantic place at nights, if you want to go with your boyfriend or husband.
Also kids love it, their hamburgers are delicious for them and they could get an special plate for kids and then go for dessert.
This restaurant counts with 150 restaurants in the 16 cities they are here in Colombia.
 El Corral Gourmet is a sophisticated restaurant that serves hamburgers, sandwiches, international plates but at last it is different to El Corral because of it facade.
